Well, after I had pretty much talked myself into leaving well enough alone, I started to unpick stitches and ended up restitching those errant letters and border. Now I have progressed just the tiniest bit further and here I am! I know no one would even know I was off by one thread, but it would bug me, so I had to fix it since I was not too far into the project!
I'm really in the mood to stitch and wishing I had more time for it, but will try and squeeze it in when I can! I have this urge to go through my bins and start something new, but I do have one project ready to go that I'd like to start--"Liberty House" by Ewe Eye and Friends. It's small, so maybe I can actually finish something this year?

That is just too cute!

I'm the same way! It will bug me until I take it out. Sometimes it's just one stitch that can throw everything off too.
Still great progress on Needlework:)
Love Liberty House too!

Great progress! I, too, would have to rip it out, unless it would in no way affect the rest of the design and I can live with it being a little off. But that doesn't happen too often...
Enjoy your new start. It looks like it will be a fun one!

EeKoon--Thanks!
Cindy--If I am too far in and it would be a huge hassle to rip out I will leave it, but when I can, I usually try and fix the error. I suppose having some little error there only makes it more unique, but I end up being bothered by it!
Julie--I try and be careful about counting, but sometimes it's easy to lose that one thread and then discover later you're off! I did start Liberty House--as soon as I get in a few more stitches I will share a photo. I'm still in the mood for something totally different--maybe a BOAF!

I would have been bugged too and would have corrected it - so kudos to you! It's very pretty.
