Danielle - it looks lovely - well done for your perserverence, it was worth it :)

Margie

I love this!. Off to go find it. :-)

Brigitte

Great progress, Danielle. When I have to frog I do it immediately and re-sticth the part that was wrong like you were doing. If I laid it aside it would stay in its box for the rest of the time, lol. I'm looking forward to seeing more progress pictures of this project.

Suzanne

Beautiful piece. I hope the frogs have left for good!

Danielle

Tessa--Thanks, I'm glad I did stick with it and didn't just set it aside! Now to keep on with it!:)
Margie--Thanks. It should be easy to find, I think most stores stock Shepherds Bush.
Brigitte--I was all set to set it aside, but I am glad I worked through it. It's such a drag to take those stitches out! I do the same thing--ignore it once I've messed up.
Suzanne--Thanks, I hope not to see any anytime soon, either!

Cross stitch

It's pretty!!
Love to see your blog!!

Von

This is such a pretty project, I'm glad you've persevered with the frogging and restitching. :)

Danielle

Cross Stitch--Thanks!
Von--It is nice and I had hoped to finish by Valentines Day, but alas, that didn't happen! :) That's okay, it's still a pretty project to work on all month. I'll glad I fixed the error, too.

margaret

Well??? Did you get this finished by Valentines Day. Come on tell me!! Danielle, you are the reason I first entered the blogging world. You just can't leave me in suspense like this!!

Danielle

Margaret--I'm the reason? :) I've been a terrible act to follow lately, though! I'm sorry I'm such a bad blogger--I can't seem to keep up. As for French Heart....am still working on it. Maybe I had better say Valentine's Day 2010! Actually I had a whim to work on The Houses of Hawk Run Hollow and was working on that a bit. I need to pull out French Heart again, though and try and finish it sometime soon.

Deborah

Hi, I've always just loved your blog and your book blog, but have been sort of a lerker..for lack of a better word! Your book choices are so great, Danielle, that you're my main source when I want my heart lightened for a few hours. Thank you for all the joy you've given me over the past year. You've meant so much to me, even though you haven't known it. I love your stitching, too! Hugs, Deb

Danielle

Deborah--Hi. Wow, what a lovely thing to say. Your comment made my day! :) I admit to being a bit of a lurker too, especially when it comes to needlework blogs. I read them via Bloglines and Google Reader, but don't always come out and leave comments. I'm always happy to meet another book and needlework fan, though. I'm so glad you enjoy the book blog--I love reading and have been doing that much more this year (and last really) than stitching. I want to stitch, but when I do sit down I find I can't make much progress. I've yet to even finish a single project this year. But I have been reading some good books--I guess I go back and forth--some years are better when it comes to stitching and some for reading. I just need more time in the day. Please feel free to leave a comment anytime here or on my book blog--and I would love to hear what you're reading, too! All the best!

Patti

Danielle, this piece is lovely. Hope you finished it by your deadline! What are you working on now?
