Thanks all! I'm really enjoying this one and have been making good progress--finally! I hope to share another photo at the end of the weekend.

Maren--It's probably not recommended to starch fabric--I suppose it's actually better to wash all that stuff out of the linen in order to preserve it longer. But I really can't work on floppy fabric and find myself easily frustrated by it. Starching it has made it so much better to work on!! If it was normal linen and cotton floss I could just wash it out at the end, but this is all hand dyed, so I'll just hope for the best! :)
