It looks gorgeous, Danielle. But I can understand you thinking about purchasing it as it's really very expensive. I'm always very reluctant at these prices. I once bought one of Chateleine's mysteries together with all the silks - the most expensive thing I have ever bought. That was years ago and now it's my only real UFO because I haven't stitched on it for the last three or four years. And somehow it still doesn't appeal to me.

I think this is so pretty, but there is no way I would spend that much on such a small piece. I almost bought last year's exclusive, Scream House, but the price was ultimately too much for it too.

On the other hand, if a TW design came out that was this expensive, I probably would buy it. I guess it comes down to desire.

And I am in the same boat as Brigitte with a Chatelaine, but it has only been about 10 months since I have put mine aside. I'll get to it one day, I'd better for the price I paid.

Ok, here's the deal. Take out all your cross-stitch books, find some small Christmas patterns, find a nice biscornu pattern to get the count (there are lots of these free on the internet, design your own and save you $100 to feed the hungrey at Christmas.

Suzanne

Ooooh! I love this design and had not seen it yet. As tempting as it is, I just can't afford that kind of spend on one piece.

Emily

I have it reserved! I LOVE Just Nan and the pins alone are just stunning. :)

Veronica

It's an interesting idea but doesn't come close to tempting me for that price. Try and resist. There's always another cool design around the corner.

Susan

It's lovely, but there's no way I would spend that much money on a small piece like that - I would spend that kind of money if there was a class, or I was learning a fabulous new technique, but a published Just Nan design? Not so much...

Danielle

Thanks for all the comments everyone! It's a lovely piece and very tempting, but so far I have resisted! Usually if I can just wait a few days I can talk myself out of a project and a look around my own stash will usually yield a project similar, already purchased and paid for and most importantly Not Yet Stitched!
