Beuatiful stitching! It's always a pain when you really are into stitching a piece and you don't have one of the threads. I am haing the same problem at the moment.

When I have a lot of changes in colour, I usually try to stitch the larger blocks of colour first and then secure the little ones in the larger sections.

Your beeskeep piece is coming along beautifully. And I love the other piece - such pretty colors.

cj

Pretty progress on both. CJ ok;-)

Brigitte

Very nice progress.
When I have those confetti stitches I do the same as Suzanne and stitch the solid parts first. And if there is no solid stitching I take just one strand of the thread and stitch each leg twice. One strand more easily to anchor on the back of the stitching.

Suzanne--I'm missing a few colors I've discovered--it is sort of annoying when you're all set to work on a project! I've been trying to start with a color that has several stitches together (in this case it was the birdhouse). I'm always afraid I won't secure my thread well enough and the individual stitches will come loose.
Debbie--I like how the Bee skep is looking as well and have stitched more on it since I took that photo! The Summer piece will be nice when I get more stitched on it as well.
CJ-Thanks! Slow but steady progress I hope.
Brigitte--I never knew those were called confetti stitches but it makes sense! I had not thought of using one strand--that's a good idea and I will keep it in mind. I'm afraid for those individual stitches they will come loose later on!
