I'm getting closer, but I'm just not there yet. Once again I've fallen into my non-stitching pattern. It's not that I don't want to, but a matter of I'm too tired at the end of the night when I have a free moment (and moment is really the key word here!). And besides not stitching, I've fallen behind again in blog reading (and posting as I've not had anything to share). But I am going to keep at it.
As you can see from this picture I've not got much really left to stitch. Only the last frame of over-one motifs and the border! So I am once again setting myself the goal of finishing by the end of this coming weekend! If I can even stitch part of the border each night it really will fly by! I think something small up next is definitely called for--a little instant gratification and I'm thinking of something along the lines of a design by Prairie Schooler--must look around.
Many thanks to the many kind comments that have been left--they have been very appreciated and if nothing else I do check in daily here to see if there is anything new! And thanks also to Margaret for passing along an award to me (I sometimes feel out of the loop, so it's nice of you to remember me!), and I'll be sharing my list of things "you may not know about me" in the next couple of days!
And I promise very soon to have something new to look at here--even if that means starting a new project. Oh, such a hardship on my part....
Have a great week everyone!
PS are the comfort food of stitching. If I had some suitable linen (I've conviced myself the stash holds nothing) I'd start one tonight! ;)

Thanks all! It feels good to be so close. I'm already thinking of what to stitch next! :)

You're too close to not keep at it!! I do that, though--get close to the end and want to work on something else, or lose interest in my current project. It looks FANTASTIC, though! Go go go!

Can't wait to see this wonderful design finished. And I'm already very curious what you will chose to stitch after it.

This piece is beautiful, keep at it, not long to go now. I am behind on blogging and reading and with the little time I have had spent it on stitching.
