Hello. Is anyone out there still? Sorry, I've been terribly remiss about posting here, though your comments have not gone unnoticed or unappreciated, so I thank you very much for them! I have actually been doing a bit of stitching, and have a tiny bit of progress to share. I've finally started work on part three of Blackbird Designs "Mystery Sampler". Not a whole lot to see yet, but part of the house. I'm dreading the eyelets, but I love stitching smyrnas at least! I love the little house, but am also stumped by the "S" shape in the door!
Here's my new project. I decided it isn't too soon to start working on Prairie Schooler's "February". I've not stitched any of the individual months, but February is my birth month, so I thought I'd like to stitch and frame this one. It also seems like a nice project for the coming winter months (we've already had snow--ugh).
My finish is Prairie Schooler's Halloween Cat, which I plan on making into a pin pillow. Since the holiday has passed I am not in a rush to pull out the sewing machine. I thought it might need a little border to jazz things up, too, so I am contemplating that at the moment.
I've also been working on my "Band Sampler" by Brenda Keyes', but as my camera has been acting up, I will wait to share a photo until the weekend. I'm afraid poor Jenny Bean (and that headache inducing 40 count fabric) has gone into the UFO bin...
I wonder if it is too late to start working on a Christmas ornament (keeping in mind how slowly I've been working this year...). I'm looking forward to some free time as next week I'll have a few days off from work for the Thanksgiving holiday (yay), so I hope to actually have time to Stitch!
Good to see a post from you! What a cute Halloween finish! Good to hear you've started on the third part of the BBD. Love your PS start. As for Christmas ornament stitching, there's still plenty of time. I say go for a quick stitch and you'll have a finish in no time. Brrrh on already having some snow!!

Love your starts. Those PS months are some of my favorite pieces. I thought that maybe someday I'd stitch all of them on one piece of fabric, but I'm probably dreaming on that ambitious project!!

Love it all! :) I really don't know what's up wit the "S" door--I think I'll change mine. It looks beautiful; house-building does take forever, but it is worth it! I just finished stitching Jenny Bean Christmas's house, so now she has someplace to live, lol!

Lois--I'm hoping to post more this week as I will have some time off from work and hopefully will be stitching more! :) I have an ornament picked out to stitch, and now I just need to collect my materials.
Joanie--I think it is the most recent Halloween design called "Boo to You". I had wanted to stitch more from the chart, but you know how that goes sometimes.
Debbie--I love those monthly designs as well. I wouldn't mind stitching them all, too, but I know I am not likely to do so as they are medium size designs--will keep working on February to start with anyway.
Beritbunny--The S is weird--I didn't realize they used that on other designs--maybe they just like the shape. I'll see what it looks like when I have it stitched in. Maybe I'll complete the shape--I'm not always very adventurous when it comes to changing designs or colors. I wish I had chosen larger fabric for Jenny Bean--I will keep that in mind if I order more of her charts. What count fabric are you using?
Susan--It really doesn't matter when you stitch designs--I know some people work on them all year. PS is one of my favorite designers, so I love almost everything she comes up with.
Karoline--Thanks--I've been working on my band sampler this week--will share photos soon.
