Your sampler piece is coming along beautifully. It's funny, but my roasted mashmallow looks a very different colour than yours. I am really keen to this piece going again.

Danielle

Suzanne--I think the color looks a tad bit more white in the photo--it's more a dirty white in reality. I can never get the actual color to show up when I am taking my photos! Once the house is finished I think the rest will go quickly! It feels good that there is something there that is actually recognizable, too! This is almost the only thing I have going at the moment--I'm in the mood to start another project.... :)

Valerie

Beautiful progress on your house. I really enjoy seeing how the project moves along. It's on my to do list...way in the future! lol

Gah! this is so gorgeous!! And, my favorite part....but I'm thinking about re-starting on a higher count; not sure 2/2 is working for me on this one...I hear 1/2 calling!

Danielle

Valerie--It's been going slowly, but now that the house is almost filled in I think the rest will move fairly quickly.
Beritbunny--It is starting to look like something familiar finally, isn't it? I sort of like the larger linen count as I hate to admit but my eyesight has gotten worse than it was. I don't wear glasses, but I probably should for this sort of work. I can actually see the linen threads and the holes! :) I do love the look of 36 and 40 count linens, though--I bet it would look very good on them!

Karoline

It's looking gorgeous, great progress

Susan

It looks lovely - I especially love the blue pattern in the house! Nice progress!

Giovanna

Great going on the house! Personally, I always stitch the surrounding cross stitches before putting in the eyelets, because I feel that eyelets might slightly pull the surrounding fabric: if the cross stitches are there, they will hold the fabric in place. But it probably doesn't matter much either way :-)
