I know what you mean - I'm fortunate that I live in a new house with great air conditioning - we've had temperatures in the triple digits for 3 weeks now. Thankfully, the humidity is not too bad...

Danielle

Susan--Old houses are nice, but not at all practical for extreme temperatures! I would do much better if I didn't feel sticky all the time. However, I should count myself lucky I do have something--imagine living when there was no electricity--no air conditioning and women wore long skirts and corsets. No wonder they were always fainting! :)

Lisa

I agree, let's hope we get some relief soon! I know our electric meter is just spinning away between all the fans and the small window air-conditioner we have going. Sigh.

Jeanne

Seems like everyone is suffering from the heat lately. I love your new start - have drooled over that one for a couple years but I already did a Quaker sampler in pinks so felt it would be too similar. Hope you cool off soon and feel like stitching again!
