Come on in the Water's Fine!

In keeping with my ongoing beach theme and the very hot and humid weather we are currently experiencing here, how about a little swimming fun a la French postcard.  I wonder if her suit would have been considered risque?  She does appear to be showing rather a lot of leg.  Of course it could be worse, some of those bathing suits looked like they might have pulled you under they were so voluminous!  I'm not quite sure what she's meant to be doing with her hands?  Any ideas?  Perhaps she's practicing the dog paddle?  My Bathing Beauties chunky book should be appearing soon to round off my little introduction to summer!
