Last week, Iliana, over at Book Girl's Nightstand shared this very cool bookmark link. Coincidentally my mom just got back from vacation in Washington, DC and Virginia and amongst the other wonderful goodies she brought me, she also bought me some new bookmarks! The ones in the front are the new ones. In the tin, you can see some of the other bookmarks in my collection. Of course this doesn't include the many that are already in use in the stack of books I am reading at the moment! The museums in DC always have great bookmarks, so I put in my request with her when she went to bring me back a few. I love the Pomegranate bookmarks. The artsy ones are my favorites, plus they are a nice weight and don't slip out of my books. However I love the tin cat one she found at the National Gallery. I have problems with tassles on bookmarks--my cats have this fixation with chewing them, and quite a few of mine are devoid of their tassles (so I have to remember to keep those out of kitty view)!! I even have a few fabric and stitched ones in the tin somewhere. You can never have enough bookmarks!
