Over the weekend I discovered that I have a second copy of Georgette Heyer's False Colours. I'm not quite sure how that happened, but I would be happy to pass it along to another Heyer fan, so if you're interested please just leave a comment below (and if you've read her, which is your favorite novel?). My most recent Heyer read was Faro's Daughter, which I really liked (as a matter of fact I think it is my favorite so far). To give you a teaser for False Colours:
"A missing twin. Something is very wrong, and the honourable Christopher "Kit" Fancot can sense it. Kit returns to London on leave from the dioplomatic service to find that his twin brother Evelyn has disappeared, and his extravagant mother's debts have mounted alarmingly."
"A quick minded heiress. The Fancot family's fortunes are riding on Evelyn's marriage to the self-possessed Cressy Stavely, and her formidable grandmother's approval of the match. If Evelyn fails to meet the Dowager Lady Stavely in a few days as planned, the betrothal could be off."
"A fortune in the balance. When the incorrigible Lady Fancot persuades her son to impersonate his twin (just for one night, she promises) the masquerade sets off a tangled sequence of events that engage Kit's heart far more deeply than he'd ever anticipated with his brother's fiancée--who might know much more about what's going on than she cares to reveal..."
It sounds like another fun Heyer romp through the Regency period. I think it might just make some entertaining holiday reading. I'll put names in a hat on Saturday morning and draw, so please leave your name by Friday night if you're interested. And I am happy to send abroad as well.
I'd like to try for this please! I haven't read any Heyer but I've been tempted.

I must hang my head and confess that I've never read a Heyer novel. But you like her, and Jenny likes her, and Elaine likes her, so I'm sure I'll like her too. I've just mooched a couple of her books so I can give her a try, but I'd love a chance at another, especially one that comes so highly recommended. Thanks!

I've only read two Heyer books, but I liked Regency Buck the best. Please enter me. Thanks Danielle!

Ooh, the book sounds really fun and interesting!

I've only read Friday's Child so far and I really liked it. I'd be delighted to win Faro's Daughter, the plot sounds ridiculous enough to work :)

Cannot resist Georgette Heyer. And I haven't read this one, so I'm in, please!

I've read a couple of Heyer books. I loved An Infamous Army.

I've already read and own False Colours so don't want to enter the draw, but can relate to inadvertently having more than one copy of the same book in the TBR pile!
Aside from Faro's Daughter, my favourite Heyer novels are Arabella, Bath Tangle, Frederica, Regency Buck and The Convenient Marriage.

I'd love my name to be put in the hat. All your reviews have tempted me but unfortunately, I've yet to read one!

I think I'll step aside for this one, as I'm reading a book you sent me right now and I don't want to be greedy! But the book sounds fun -- my favorite Heyer so far (out of two I've read) is Lady of Quality. It's such fun!

My favourite Heyer so far is "The Grand Sophy", which I've just finished. The male love interest is kind of an afterthought -- it's really all about Sophy! "False Colours" sounds good, too.

This one sounds so good! I'm reading The Reluctant Widow right now and loving it!

I just read Charity Girl for Estella and loved it! It was my first Heyer but definitely not my last. I'd love to win your extra copy ;)

Many thanks to everyone who has left a comment so far--and thanks for title suggestions. I'll drop the names of those who are interested in a hat on Friday. I only wish I had more copies to give away! :)

I've only read one...The Reluctant Widow. I'm currently reading Simon the Coldheart. I love her style!

It sounds delightful! I've only read Cousin Kate and two of her mysteries, but they were great fun.

I have never read Heyer, yet! Who knows if I might win this copy? Thanks for hosting Danielle. :)

Please put my name in too. I'm enjoying Heyer's Detection Unlimited at the moment - very different from her Regency books.

Please add my name to the hat. I read Georgette Heyer many years ago, during a particularly difficult time in my life and she was the greatest escape! I must admit I don't remember the details of any particular book, just that they were wonderful.
