Berlin Woolwork Sampler

No...don't worry, I am not planning on starting this one.  Well, not really anyway.  Several people are stitching this on the Legacy Board, and I have seen scans of their progress and it is really LOVELY!  The picture on the chart really does not do it any justice at all.  I have the first three charts.  I think there are about five out now, and there will be nine all together.  If I were to stitch this one now, I think I would stitch it on 34 count Devonshire Cream Linen and use Needlepoint silks.  The big reason I am putting this one off is the cost.  Aside from needing a huge cut of linen, it calls for quite a few different colors of floss.  Of course that is part of the attraction--the color is really wonderful on the examples I have seen.  The other reason is I have enough big projects going as it is.  It looks as though I am not even going to get in any stitching time tonight.  I did join a bulletin board today on rotation stitching, though, so maybe that will help me stay on track.  And after posting a photo of my poor  neglected, And They Sinned, I should concentrate on some other UFOs....But it is always nice to have something nice to look forward to.
