Gee, I Have Nothing to Stitch...

I am not really sure I should share this picture...Here are some of the various containers with my stash...I actually have more--some bins with floss (two), a medium size box with charts, a small bin full of freebies, a top closet shelf full of books (and more books in a stack on the floor) and back issues of needlework magazines, not to mention the stack of stuff by my bed that I am working on, want to work on, or am just looking at.  My friend Veronique in France has the most lovely stitching room I have ever seen!!  Unfortunately I have to fit all sorts of stuff into my little side room--my treadmill, computer, and paper arts stuff as well as some of my stash.  The room needs to be painted, and the carpeting isn't the greatest, but I am happy to have it at all.  I wish I could have a nice big armoire to keep my stash in and keep in nice and organized and accessible.  Until that litttle dream comes true I will have to content myself with trying to remember which bin contains the item I need!  And I know we are really not supposed to keep fabrics and things in plastic, but until I win the lottery...I would love to see how others have organized their stash!!
