I think Lambswool is pretty much my favorite fabric. This scan is of a 28 count piece that I am planning on using for Little House Needlework's The Bookshelf. I had bought the fabric that is called for, 28 count Light Mocha Cashel, but it felt too loose to stitch on. I used to love cashel, but lately I am finding that I really prefer a nice stiff fabric, a tighter weave, even a much smaller count. I have been having a hard time keeping my stitches nice and even on softer fabric. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I also love RR Reproduction fabric and Lakside Linens. I wonder what they use as their base fabric before dyeing it. I would like to know more about the various fabrics. I guess I will have to do a little research or post to one of the bulletin boards to find my answer. And after seeing another stitcher's progress on The Bookshelf, I pulled out my own and am contemplating starting (just contemplating it still...)!
