Friendship Exchange

Look what goodies I received in the mail today!!  These are from the Birthday Buddies exchange I have been talking about.  Mine are from Romy in Austria.  Romy's design came from a Prairie Schooler chart and it is stitched perfectly over one!!  I totally admire anyone who has the patience and ability to stitch over one.  Alas, I am not one of those people.  I can stitch a small section, but not an entire chart.  And the finishing on this is *perfect*!!   Even the fabric on the back, which is plaid is totally lined up straight!  I am thinking of hanging it from the door knob of my computer room, but I don't want the cats to be tempted by it!  I think it will end up on my shelf with my other treasures!  It is absolutely gorgeous--and I love it!!  Thanks, Romy!!  She also sent  a lovely little sachet bag, a thimble with a portrait of Empress Sisi, a postcard of Bad Ischl (which looks really lovely!), some brochures of a local Photo Museum where her hubby is curator (I love anything art related--I studied Art History at University), and finally some yummy Austrian chocolates.  Needless to say I have been very spoiled!!
