You Don't Miss It 'Til It's Gone...

In this case, the missing is in reference to EZ Board!  I visit a handful of bulletin boards, and they have been hacked into.  It is really quite annoying.  I didn't quite realize that I was this addicted until I heard it may be a couple of weeks before everything is really sorted out.  Some boards seem absolutely fine, but others I am not able to get into at all.  I have a couple of favorites, one being Legacy Embroiderer's Guild, and I have been denied access entirely.  I am not sure if anyone is able to access that one, or if I am just a "lost member".  The owner of another board said not to reapply as this may "ban" members entirely and not allow them in at all, which is what seems to have happened on Leagacy to me.  Of course I reapplied, at the time I did not know that the whole system had been hacked.  I just had cleaned out my cookies on my computer and I thought perhaps it was due to this.  I have heard that in this situation I may have to set up an entirely new account.  Who knows what is happening, what exactly has been completely lost and what might be restored.  I guess I will just have to content myself with perusing other boards.  Certainly I could spend the time stitching...what a thought!  For me, though, the boards are a great source of information and inspiration.  I really hope they get sorted out soon!!
