Vero and I did a little magazine trade. I sent/am sending (when the other comes in) a couple of craft magazines. And she sent me the stitching magazine De Fil en Aiguille, and Marie Claire Idees. They came in the mail today, and I just love both of them. I have heard others talk about the Marie Claire, and perhaps in larger cities here in the States it can be found, but not in my town. Everything seems so exotic in it. I don't even care that I can't read the articles as it is enough to look at all the photos!
Aren't these lavender projects luscious! Vero had these pages marked, and I have to agree with her. The designs on the left are wonderful--particularly the bottom right one. I am not sure if it is a little sachet? I may need help with the translations, but I want to stitch it. I love the shape especially. I even like the sampler on the right--you could use the individual motifs for various projects.
Isn't this design darling, too? I think I am drawn by the colors. I am not sure what goguette is--I will have to go to Google next! All the designs are great. Everything just seems so different than what we get over here. Of course you always want what you don't have!
If anyone abroad would want to do a stitching/craft magazine trade, please let me know--I love foreign magazines! I am off to peruse my new magazines!!
