Finally the weekend. Already my Friday night is almost done. Why does time at work seem to stand still and time at home absolutely zip by?? At work I am always saying I wish it was Friday, and a coworker (who is now retired) would always say you shouldn't wish you life away! LOL. And considering I keep finding pesky grey hairs, I guess she is right. Where did those creep up from??
I have lots to get done this weekend. I need to clean for one thing. I saw on someone's blog somewhere a quote that goes something to the effect--"a clean house is a sign of a wasted life"? Well, you get the idea. I guess if you are looking at it that way, I am certainly *not* wasting my life lately!! However, the dust is an inch thick (maybe I am exaggerating a bit) in my bedroom, so I really better do a little cleaning. Yuck, but there it is. I am a pretty neat person, but I guess I am just bad at controlling dust! LOL.
My other plans this weekend are to finish my Essy's Friend tin pin, and work on my exchange projects. I have my Quaker started, but I need to get going on my Halloween things. I brought them to work today, only to discover I had not brought all my floss. So much for that! I am also contemplating starting This Too Shall Pass II. After seeing Ashleigh's finish recently, I want to start mine now, too! Also I need to figure out how to finish a pin keep as my Quaker is meant to be finished in a pin keep (or needleroll or needlecase--something with needles/pins). Also tomorrow I should be getting my exchange partner's name for the redwork exchange on the Stitching Bloggers Exchange board. The needleroll exchange from that board that I am moderating is due first, but I am still waiting on supplies. And finally I am going to participate in a freebie design exchange in my Birthday Buddy group. We will each stitch up a favorite freebie design. I need to look through my freebie stash now! If you pop on over to Stitches of Life you can see some very lovely finishes including a gorgeous freebie (Life's a Stitch). However, now I guess it is time to hit the sack as I am beat! Happy stitching everyone!
