Check out my lovely Sampler House Needlecase! It came all the way from Australia and was waiting for me today after I got home from work. Tessa made it for me, and I *love* it! I have never gotten (or made) a needlecase before, and I have been envious of the other needlecases I have seen that other stitchers have received!! :) So now I have my own. I am not sure who designed the house. I know I have it as well, it is a freebie. It is such a sweet house, but when I saw it called for French Knots, I put it back in my freebie bin as I am lousy at making French Knots!
Here is the back side of the needlecase. I love the little scissor charm and the little beads on the ribbons! These little details make it really nice!
This is the case opened up. She even made a little pocket, and of course the needles.
And finally here are all the goodies she sent. She included a lovely card from where she lives, some Australian floss--Minnamurra, lovely little cinnamon buttons (the package has five of them), and yummy chocolate from Haigh's. I have been very spoiled these last two weeks. First a lovely pillow from Tracey, and now Tessa's lovely needlecase! Exchanges are way too fun!! Thanks Tessa!! This made my whole week!!
