Oh no. I have just discovered the Country Cottage Needleworks website! I had heard that Diane Williams' (of Little House Needleworks ) daughter was going to start desiging the "cottage" part of their Americana and Country Cottage Needlework Designs. Her first designs are "Bakery" and "Ladybugs and Bumblebees". These are meant to convey the popular looks in shabby chic decorating and country French designs according to the LHN website. I love the two new designs and I hope to get them from Elegant Stitch. They are both stitched on country French mocha linen with crescent colors. This one reminds me a bit of the Brightneedle charts! I can't wait to get them!
This weekend I finished a small project, and I hope to post a photo of it later this week. It is for a friend, and I will mail it out tomorrow after work. It was a quick little stitch. I hope the finishing looks okay. I made cording for it, and I am still working on getting my cording to look right. I also worked last night on my needleroll design for an exchange. I seem to have chosen a chart that calls for lots of stitching! But it will look nice once it is finished. It also has lots of beads, and a few Mill Hill treasures as well.
