Here is my April stash aquisitions that came in the mail today. Actually I ordered this before I decided to try very hard to not use the credit card, so it is a larger stash haul than I would normally order. I am trying to keep it to $30 a month, which means really planning and deciding what I really, really have to have! I went over my alloted amount, so nothing more until May (unless of course I can pay cash for it!). I finally have my floss for the "Spring" Birds of a Feather chart that I have had for a little while. Of course I couldn't wait for this floss and I started something different by BOAF ("Schoolgirls Wish Sampler"). I also ordered the new Shepherds Bush sheep kit, "Hunt". I have been collecting them, but I have only stitched one so far. Any of these would be excellent things to pull out to work on to stave off any new stash hunger pains! After seeing Siobhan's wonderful finish, I had to have Blackbird Design's "Strawberry Garden". Actually I am happy to have ordered this as I heard that it had to be reprinted as the first lot sold out, and when this next batch is gone they won't be printing any more. I also bought their "Quaker Garden" as well. It really caught my eye! Now I will have to think about what I will order in May...perhaps kit up one of the new Blackbird Designs charts? Or the JCS scissor case that I posted about yesterday--I am not sure if I have any of the supplies as it doesn't call for DMC. I will put it all in my notebook and decide when the time comes closer. Until then I still have my new projects, plus some gifts to finish up--plenty to keep me busy and stop any thinking about new stash anyway!
