A Giving Heart

I have felt so totally boring here lately, that I decided I needed a small project that would be quick, and would be something different to look at than my usuall WIPs!  I was too lazy to pull out my Christmas ornament supplies (I hope to this weekend--I think I know which one I want to start with), so I pulled out an Essy's Friends.  These are wonderful.  They are small and quick and all the supplies are ready at hand!  This is the Drawn Thread design from a month or two ago.  It may take me a wee bit longer than some of the others as it has lots of specialty stitches.  I think it will be pretty when it is done though.  Otherwise nothing exciting from my part of the world.  I hope to work on my friend's birthday gift tonight.  And I hope to finally finish house #2 of HoHRH this weekend.  And of course I am still watching for the new CHS design (and supplies!).  I would love to get caught up on my blog reading this weekend.  I have gotten so far behind again.  My problem is that there are simply too many and they are all wonderful--it is almost daunting to sit down and go through the list.  It never ends up being the "take a quick" peek job that I think it will be.  But, first things first.  Tonight...birthday stitching!
