Here she is all finished--at least the stitching. This is probably not that different than the last photo I shared, but all the stars are finally filled in. Next step is to press the linen and add the beads. I think I may fudge on the beads. Even though there are specific places on the chart showing where the beads go, I may just add them in the area shown generally--so I don't have to do all that counting!! Lazy me! I am not sure when I will actually finish her into a pillow as I don't yet have any backing material and I want something that looks really nice. That means a trip to the quilting store--whenever I can get there. I hope to get the beads on this weekend though.
Any special plans for the rest of the weekend everyone? I suspect there will be a cook out here, but I am not sure of any details at this point. I would be happy just relaxing and stitching and reading! I will work on my birthday gift for my friend and hopefully something else as well. I should finish up the PS "July" ornament!! What won' t I be working on? I checked my online credit card statement and there is no sign yet of any charge for my "Village of Hawk Run Hollow" supplies. So nothing is in the mail and I might as well stop looking anxiously at the mail everyday when I come home! Maybe I am just on the bottom of her list and Drema is sending out the supplies in groups. Anyway, I won't be working on that! Of course I am anxious to get it, but I promise not to talk about it anymore until it is here! I have plenty to work on in the interim! Besides I will have something nice to look forward to in the mail!
