Two days in a row that I have gotten stitching related mail! I really miss getting stash in the mail like I used to--even though I have more than enough stash to keep me busy for ages and ages! Sampler and Antique Quarterly is my favorite needlework magazine. I wish there were more like this, or that they published every month rather than only four times a year! Sometimes I find lots of things I want to stitch. This issue has a set of needlework accessories that I really would love to stitch that are made using those sewing cards by Tokens and Trifles. I have never tried these before. I did give them to a friend as a gift, but I have never indulged myself by buying any. Perhaps a splurge later down the road will be called for. There is also a Dutch Sampler Needlebook design, which looks very familiar. I wonder if it was sold as a chart at one time, or maybe one that looks like it. It is pretty, but I think I can resist the temptation! Needless to say I will be taking this along in my bookbag to work all week to read the articles and even browse the ads in the back!
