This week I received not one, but two little surprise packages in the mail from my friend Cath in Belgium! She has gone to Italy on vacation, and she sent some lovely little goodies which came completely unexpectedly! First came a gorgeous Roma scarf that I will wear this fall! Then she sent some things from Tuscany--lovely notepaper (with that design they are so famous for and that I love!), a little 2007 calendar that I will keep by my computer, some postcards (that make me want to go to Italy right now!), and a beautiful bookmark that will be put to very good use! Grazie Cath! These have made my week!
One more little stitching note. Have you seen the new Prairie Schooler designs? I really like them all. I admit that I am very fond of her older sampler designs, but I like these as well. I like how she also gives the smaller designs (the little squares) and you can substitute whichever you like for your sampler to personalize it. I am going to have to give in and order the four new charts. I know I am not supposed to be buying anything new for me, but I love PS and I collect their charts, so I am giving in to this temptation! This puts me in a mood to stitch something by PS now! And I am not sure, but I think this is a new freebie, too (or maybe not--the copyright says 2003)!
