A Prairie Year...So Far

 

I have a few gaps in my Prairie Schooler--"Prairie Year" ornament SAL.  I started out pretty good--January, February, and March were all stitched and finished in the same months.  April I got tired of stitching, but now it is time to get back to work on him and finish him up!  I skipped May and June.  I think the designs were too boring and I wasn't inspired to stitch them.  July I stitched up in June, but as you see I have not yet finished.  And for August I decided to use a design from "Prairie Year II" rather than the the other chart.  The ornament on the other chart is a watermelon--I definitely prefer this bee skep!  I hope to fill in the missing months still, and for the remaining four months of the year I will choose whichever design appeals to me more between the two charts.  I had just about given up on this little project.  I am glad that it now looks like I will be able to finish this!
