I have finished the four dragonflies in the center of my "Miss Kitty's Dragons" needlecase. From a distance they actually form a very pretty pattern. I am so used to seeing them close up. Backstitching is not always my favorite thing to do, but I really did enjoy stitching these. I guess since you are actually working towards a shape rather than just stitching plain lines, it is more interesting to do. Once I finish filling in the center, I will work my way around the four corners. I haven't given much thought yet to the finishing--eek--another needlecase! I will worry about that later! For now I am still enjoying working on this design.
Over the weekend I got very little accomplished. I wasn't feeling well, so I really didn't stitch. I worked a tad bit on my VoHRH. If I am able to stitch some more on it, I will share a progress photo, but at the moment there is not much to see still. It had been my plan to spend the weekend working on it. I did sort out my floss bin. Once I had everything in piles and went looking for plastic bags, I discovered that I didn't have the size that I wanted. So now they are divided up by number ranges and I put them in gallon sized bags. Not the best solution, but it will have to do for the moment. At least if I am looking for particular colors, they will be easier to find! Now I need something to put those in! It is a never ending process!
