Halloween Stitching

I had planned on starting a Halloween design by Birds of a Feather now, but as I am still waiting for my supplies, I thought I might work on these little Just Nan designs from her chart "Crowjackers" while I wait for my order.  I didn't get the WhimZi frames, and I have DMC instead of silk.  Now it is just a matter of what linen.  I tend to always fall back on my favorite--Lambswool.  It is a tad bit lighter in this photo than in reality.  The chart calls for Cobblestone (which is darker than the Lambswool), but I don't think I have any.  I may have to take another quick look through the bin, though.  I am getting used to stitching on nice stiff fabric that I have a hard time working on anything else.  I am planning on stitching two of the designs and then finishing them as the front and back of a fob.  The finished size is 2" x 2", so this should be a quick project to stitch and finish.  I need to take a peek at what everyone else is stitching.  I love autumn designs!
