I think I have found the project to keep my interest for a while! I thought it would be a Halloween design (and I still have them out and ready to stitch), but in the end I decided this looked the most tempting. Although I didn't have it kitted up, I had the fabric and I decided to use DMC (rather than the called for silks), so that was a matter of pulling floss. I think I might need a couple of metallics, but I will dig through my stash as I bet I even have those. The only thing I ended up buying is the finishing kit. I was going to wait, but of course I couldn't! I was very good, though. I only bought the finishing kit (only $13.00) and nothing else. It came in the mail today, so I am set! You can see the tiny start I have so far. It is not a large design, though it does have a fair amount of specialty stitches. I have loved this design since I bought it ages ago, and I figured why keep waiting. I plan on finishing it as the needlecase as shown. I only hope the finishing is not too difficult. Even though Just Nan's designs have gotten a bit on the expensive side, I do give her credit for getting someone to put together those finishing kits. Not only are the photos nice and helpful, but all the necessary fabrics and ribbons, etc. are included. I hope to keep my attention on this one and see it through to the finishing!!
