Yesterday the new September Essy's Friends, "Rays of Hope", came in the mail. Last night I sat down and decided I wanted to stitch it. I like the design and I could use a new keyholder for my keys. I was looking through the instructions, but I could not find anywhere how many plies of floss to use. It is 32 count fabric, and it seems to be mostly specialty stitches, so I assumed one ply would be fine. But then when I would look at the little photo I would start to doubt myself. So I put it all back and pulled out my Prairie Schooler ornament to stitch on. It was too late to think too hard. Has anyone else looked this over? What do you think, one or two plies?
I am hoping that since this is a long weekend that I might actually get in some decent stitching time. Last weekend was awful--I didn't get anything done. Now to decide what to work on...
