As my Prairie Schooler witch is finally starting to look like something more than a black blob I thought I would share a photo of my stitching so far! This is the October ornament. It calls for only three colors (grey, orange, and green), and it is nice semi-mindless, relaxing stitching! I set the chart beneath the linen and you can see the finished ornament on the bottom. I am not sure how I will finish her. I haven't given too much thought lately about finishing my ornaments, though there are a few that need to be sewn and several in the middle of being stitched! Eventually I will finish a year's worth of these, but it may take me a while still! Next year I don't think I will do any monthly projects like I have been so gung ho in the past to do. Though I do really love stitching Prairie Schooler designs. I would like to concentrate more on some of her newer charts--the smaller ornaments and samplers. And I have not forgotten the charts I shared recently...I do want to start some new little project (am leaning heavily towards the Drawn Thread seasonal design). I am still working each morning on my Just Nan--slow but steady progress! I am thinking about taking a few afternoons off from work and I would love to spend at least some of the time stitching! Until then it is the usual before work and on break stitching! I lead such a predictable life!!
