Sorry--horrible photo! The color of the linen is completely off, and it has that shiny look to it, that I can't seem to avoid when I am taking photos of my stitching. But here is a bit more progress on Ann Kirby. I received the missing instructions in the mail from The Scarlet Letter today. They are much what I expected, but it is nice to have them just in case. Although it doesn't look like much progress I have been working on this--switching back and forth between Ann and The Quaker Garden. As this is a reproduction, I am not sure whether to stitch it exactly as Ann did, including her initials and date, or (as the instructions suggest) replace them with my own. I think I would rather use Ann's since she designed this. I would like to add mine somewhere, but not in the place of prominence. I wonder what the norm is? The inner border is made up of clovers (that is what the instructions call them), and there are twelve across the top. I am almost halfway there. I expect I will be working on this one for a rather long time!
