Shepherds Bush - Halloween Needleroll

Here it is--a week late, but here is my finished needleroll!  I completed it last Saturday, but just got around to taking a photo of it yesterday.  It was from a Shepherds Bush kit, and I enjoyed stitching it.  Although I have made needlerolls before (several as a matter of fact), this is the very first that I've made that I get to keep for myself.  I'm happy with the way it turned out and I think I will have to stitch more of them and display them in a basket like so many other stitchers do.  Now, on to the next little project!  I'll share a photo soon.

Progress on a Halloween Needleroll

 

I decided I needed a little instant gratification and started working on a Shepherds Bush needleroll.  As Halloween is just around the corner I pulled out this design.  I can't seem to get a good photo lately of any of my stitching, but as I took this one outside it seems to be marginally better than my recent pictures.  I've actually finished the stitching (last night) and now just need to get do a little backstitching and add the rest of the beads.  Hopefully I'll have it finished into a needleroll by the end of the week.  I have another small Halloween design set aside that I'll work on next--no orange fabric, however.  It's nice working on something small occasionally and seeing more instant results!
