I've been hoping to get a few of the recently issued Royal Mail stamps commemorating the two hundred year anniversary of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Over the course of the last week I've lucked out three times now!

Well, it's proving too much to try and post a daily photo of my letter writing during the work week, so how about a wrap of my endeavors on the weekend?
I'm afraid I'm finding that postcards are easier to send than letters. As much as I love writing long letters I can't always squeeze them in at night.
It helps that I belong to Postcrossing and usually send a few each week. Postcards have become quite an addiction of mine, and I like to think of them as little works of art!
I didn't take a photo (why ruin the surprise), but I even sent out a very few Valentine's Day cards as well--waited a bit too long so they will likely be tardy, but it's the thought that counts right?
More photos to follow next weekend. And I've gotten a few postcards in my own mailbox as well, which always makes my day!

All lined up and ready to go. The one front and center is a Postcrossing card on its way now to California. The others are on their way to other US destinations for a postcard exchange via Swap Bot.
And one very cool incoming card from a Postcrosser in the Netherlands with whom I've been swapping book related postcard with.
As there is no mail on Sundays or holidays those are 'rest days', though I am hoping to write at least one proper letter to post on Monday.

Incoming mail--not a single card or letter, but I did get book mail which is equally as good!
Have you heard of the A Month of Letters Challenge? Although I've not been very good at updating my space here with my latest postcards, I am still very active in Postcrossing. And next month I'll be writing a card or letter every mail day (23 days here in the US).
I'm going to try and keep track of my letter writing odyssey here (fingers crossed I'll manage it), even if it is a quick snapshot of outgoing and incoming (I do hope I get a few cards and letters back!) mail.
