This is another French postcard I bought not too long ago. I just noticed that someone decided she needed a little eyeliner and inked on a little mascara above her eyes. Humpf. At least it is not too noticeable--they must not have thought she was exotic enough.
Another boring day. At this time of year all the days seem just about the same--although today was nice and sunny and not too cold. Winter tends to get to me by this time. I want it to be light out when I go to work, and warm. I am sure that soon enough I will be complaining about the heat, however.
I am making progress on my Peace (Birds of a Feather) needlework project, and I pulled out my papers over the weekend and have a design semi put together for my Asian Dreams chunky book page. I tend to lay things out and then have to think about them and move things around. I am a pretty slow worker when it comes to collage stuff. Hopefully soon I will have something more exciting to share.
Alas, about the most exciting thing lately was watching the anti-climactic finale of the Bachelorette. I didn't watch all the episodes, but enough to get the general idea. She was certainly not easy to please, but I can't imagine actually believing you are going to find your true love on a show like that. You sort of wonder what happened between Jen and Jerry, as she seemed quite turned off and he was still holding that ring. He is an art gallery director (sounds good to me)--he seemed pretty decent, but maybe she just wanted fame and stardom and not a husband. That's reality TV for you. No doubt we'll get all the dirt in People, and Us, and all those other fun, trashy magazines...
