Recently my friend, Vero, started a blog, which I have been enjoying "reading" (well, with the help of the Google translator!). She is just starting to stitch This Too Shall Pass II, which is a pin keep. The owner of Elegant Stitch is a breast cancer survivor and for the past several years she has been designing needlework accessories and the profits have been donated to cancer research. So not only do you get a gorgeous needlework kit, but your money is going to a very, very good cause. She designed some earlier pieces under the name, From the Heart. I have the needleroll kit (yes...unstitched so far...I am very bad, I know!). I would love to have all those pieces as well. I have told myself (as I am supposed to be budgeting), that once I finish (and that means actually "finishing"--all the sewing as well as stitching), I can order another of the pieces in the series. So it is time to get to work on This Too Shall Pass scissor keep (the first in this series of accesories)! After seeing Vero's progress on her blog (not to mention her finished scissor keep), I have pulled mine out, and I am going to get started on it tomorrow. I have read through the instructions, so I just need to get stitching at this point. I will show you my progress as I go!
