Nancy Drew: Girl Detective

Look what I found a the library this week--Girl Sleuth: Nancy Drew and the Women Who Created Her by Melanie Rehak.  I loved Nancy Drew as I was growing up!   She was the coolest of cool even though it took me forever to figure out what color "titian" was!  If you notice the title, it says "women" who created her.  Carolyn Keene was actually Edward Stratemeyer, but apparently it was two women who "brought Nancy to life"--Mildred Wirt Benson, and Harriet Stratemeyer Adams.  And yes, this is their story!  It all sounds a bit confusing, but I am sure it will be sorted out once I get this one to the top of the reading pile!!
