Last week I was browsing around the Pomegranate website, and I decided to order a few new bookmarks. We always carried them at the bookstore where I worked. Since they closed, I have not been able to find any of their bookmarks locally, and they are my favorites. I only ordered about five individual bookmarks (the ones in plastic sleeves still), but then I noticed a "grab bag" of bookmarks and decided to order that as well. I think there are 50 bookmarks (which comes out to something like 30 cents a bookmark). You don't know what you are getting, of course. Granted there are a few I don't care for (how many Susan Seddon Boulets can you get in one variety pack anyway...), but most are taken from works of art. My favorite is the one on the bottom left--the snow scene by Childe Hassam. Now I need a bigger container to store them all! Or should I start reading a few more books...
