A Year of Magical Thinking

Finally...only three weeks after it was due (!!), The Year of Magical Thinking by Joan Didion was returned to my library.  I was first on the list to get it next, so I now have it in my hot little hands.  I have heard so many good things about it, I am looking forward to reading it.  I have to do a bit of reshuffling of books on my night table as there are just way too many to be working on at once.  So, C'est La Vie by Suzy Gershman is going to have to be set aside for a while.  I wasn't making any progress on it anyway.  I have a feeling that the Didion book is going to be heavy duty at least in terms of subject matter, so perhaps I will be ready for a bit of fluff a bit later on and can get back to the Gershman later!
