Empty bookcases are always in need of books. Last July I bought two new bookcases (one big and one small) to help contain the overflow of books that I had. As you see here, all the books are nicely shelved, each in its own place. The extras laying on top. Inspired by Dorothy's post, and a recent reshuffling of my books once again, I thought I should take another look at my bookcases.
I obviously didn't buy a large enough book case! In my defense the stacks that have built up in front of my nice, orderly rows are not necessarily new. Lately I have been in a bit of a reorganization mood. I keep more than a couple stacks of books in my bedroom, and it was getting too claustrophobic, so some had to down to the book room. Now there is just nowhere to put them all, but to stack them up on the shelves in front of the other books. So when you run out of shelf space does that mean your library is complete and you shouldn't buy anymore books? If so, I think I am in trouble. Maybe I just need a larger book room...
