'Tis the traditional season to be Merry, to be thankful for friends, family and good health, and to show appreciation with little tokens of affection. I had planned on doing this tomorrow, but as so many are taking reading and writing hiatuses, I am afraid not many people will be stopping by here in the next few days. I really enjoy this little reading community in this part of the blogosphere, so to show my appreciation to you dear reader and your many thoughtful comments and reading suggestions, I wanted to give away some little bookish thing. I found these wonderful "knowledge cards" at Pomegranate.com, and I would like to give them away. It was hard choosing just a few as there are so many fun ones, but I decided on: Shakespeare's Sonnets, Quick Look at Great Books and The Plot Thickens. All you need to do is leave your name and the deck you are interested in on this post. As I know many are out of town, you can do this through Saturday the 30th, and on Sunday I will draw names for each of the decks. If you are not in the US--you can still leave your name--I am happy to mail overseas.
For those of you who celebrate---I wish you a Very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone else! Thanks for being part of my reading year and I am already looking forward to the next one as well!
