Did you mark your calendars? Today is the release day for Jacqueline Winspear's The Mapping of Love and Death. I wrote about it here. I found it to be a thoroughly satisfying read and my favorite Maisie Dobbs novel yet. It's been quite a journey for Maisie from her humble beginnings as a maid in the Compton's great house to becoming a successful investigator and psychologist with a war in between. I like the way the series is moving and how Maisie and the other characters are developing, and I can see many possibilities for Maisie in the future. That's a bit of a tease, isn't it?
The good news is HarperCollins is letting me give away three copies of Jacqueline Winspear's newly released The Mapping of Love and Death. The catch is I can only give away the copies to readers in the US and Canada. So if you're interested in dropping your name in the virtual hat, please leave a comment below. In exchange I only ask the name of your favorite cozy mystery and/or sleuth. I'll pull three names on Saturday March 27. Good luck and drop me a comment!
