Blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year to you, Danielle! It's been a long while since I last dropped by to comment, but rest assured I have been lurking, and have had much pleasure and inspirations from your unending bookish enthusiasm. ;)

Caroline

Happy Holidays, Danielle.
That's a lovely photo.

Smithereens

Happy holidays to you too! What lovely poinsettias! I hope the holidays will bring you many bookish presents.

Stefanie

Merry Christmas Danielle!

Danielle

Thanks Kathy--I took the photo at Thanksgiving time--didn't get back to see all the poinsettias until today finally! I hope you had a lovely holiday, too!

Danielle

Happy Holidays to you, too, Litlove! I hope you have had a very good Christmas, too--not too crazy or hectic. And I look forward to hearing about the treats your family hopefully gave you as well!

Danielle

Merry Christmas, Janet! I hope Santa was generous in the book department as well!

Danielle

Hi Joan--Happy Holidays! I hope you are having a wonderful Christmas and best wishes for 2015!

Danielle

Happy Holidays Iliana--alas, not a single book in my stocking, but I did get a few gift cards, so I can pick out a few books next time I head to the bookstore! :)

Danielle

Hi Vicki--Best wishes to you, too. I had a really lovely holiday--and far too many Christmas cookies (but you need to let yourself splurge sometimes, right?!). I hope you get a break as well and are enjoying reading something really good!

Danielle

Hi Michelle--Best wishes to you as well. No worries about not stopping by--it has been a busy year, hasn't it? I wish I could spread time out a bit more as there never seems to be enough of it to do all the things I want to! Here's to more bookishness in the coming year and more free time for both of us! :)

Danielle

Thanks Caroline--the photo is from Lauritzen Gardens, which is always quite festive at this time of year. I hope you are enjoying a peaceful holiday time!

Danielle

Happy Holidays Smithereens! Aren't the poinsettias gorgeous? The local botanical gardens always puts on quite a show at this time of year. I hope Santa was generous to you, too!

Danielle

Happy Holidays, Stefanie! I hope you are enjoying the break and spending many relaxing hours with a book in hand!

May I make a plea to bring back the salutation, "Happy" or "Merry Christmas" ... I might have a holiday in the summer, and I know the word holiday comes from holy day, but we are currently celebrating Christmas. Let's not forget the reason we are actually celebrating! So may I wish you a belated Happy Christmas to you and all your family and all your blog followers.

Hi Margaret--I hope you had a really lovely and Happy (!) Christmas! :) I kept my own wishes in general sort of generic as I know that some readers don't actually celebrate Christmas itself, though they do celebrate other holidays of the season (like Hanukkah). And I am totally with you in celebrating what the actual season is about and not the crass commercial aspect! Can you believe it came and went so quickly and now there are a mere three days left of the year?!
