Oh what a marvelous sounding essay! I really am going to have to read this book sometime!


I once read 'Ganga' somewhere, for grandfather, so Ga sounded kind of familiar. I so much like her being such a visual writer.


I think you would really enjoy this collection! This was my favorite section so far, but it has all been good!


How interesting--I love hearing about language. My grandfather (mother's father) was from Sicily and my sisters and I called my grandparents Nanna and Nanno. She is just my sort of writer since she describes things so eloquently. I love being able to see it all so vividly in my mind.
