Another great entry into your short story project!


Ooh, I like the sound of this story. Right at the start when you said Linnaeus and that first excerpt that he is losing his memory I got a chill. The horror of being a kind of Adam and then no longer being able to remember all the names. *shudder*


It turned out to be another good one. When reading it seemed sort of 'quiet' with not much happening, but on further reflection--there is actually lots to think about. Those are always the best stories.


I think you would like this book--it has such a nice slant towards science and the storytelling is really excellent. It is a scary thought--to have all your work forever remembered and yet you yourself begin forgetting all those names and words. It makes me shudder, too!
