Oh fun. Something familiar, yet still very different. Sounds like it is off to a good start!

Yes, he has definitely hooked me. Now I am curious where the story will go. With books like this I often feel like a voyeur!

This sounds very good. I've read a couple of crime stories by Japanese writers and they have a certain noir quality about them. Really have enjoyed the ones I've read. I hope this will be a winner!

I think the only Japanese crime novel I have read by a Japanese author is one by Natsuo Kirino, which I liked but recall being rather unsettling. I think this one is going to be good and he certainly has me turning the pages!
