State of the Nightstand: April(!) 15

Finished my Virago Modern Classic--I forgot how wonderful Rosamund Lehmann is.  I have a biography of her I would love to read soon.  Now comes the pleasure of choosing a new one, or maybe a Persephone title.  I will be seeing the opera Medea next weekend so I am trying to squeeze reading the play in anticipation.  Have added a new read to the mix, can you spot which one (it's in the front--second book down if you need a hint!).  And, not shown is a library book I picked up that I had to return partially read but had to get back in line for-the new Jane Harper mystery.  My reading has been so wonky lately--not much has been budging of late.
