Hello. It's been a while, hasn't it? I am sorry I have been so absent (I seem to say that often here, don't I?). I have more than a bit of clean up to take care of, but once the dusting is done and the stacks are put to right, the cobwebs removed and things get sorted, I hope to finish off the year with more of a presence.
I hope you are all well. I have just been puttering along. I have mostly been feeling like I am standing still (just barely not swept away) in the middle of a rushing river.
But let's talk/think books, shall we? I have just finished a most excellent nonfiction read, Patrick Radden Keefe's Say Nothing: A True Story of Murder and Memory in Northern Ireland. It was utterly riveting. I think I must read everything else he has written, no matter what, if he always tells stories the way he did in that one. I think I will switch gears a bit. My first glance at the TBR piles resulted in a few different nonfiction reads. Something nice to think about.
I'll be back with more bookishness. I have lots of that to chat about. I hope you are all well and reading something very good!
